Hallux Valgus Toe Separator I201

Silicone spreader for hallux valgus having an anatomical shape that allows perfect adherence and adaptation to the shape of toes. By abducting the big toe to the products prevents the occurrence of bunions.

Instructions for use

Indications (target patient group)

• Prophylaxis in the formation of bunions

Contraindications:

• Skin changes within the impact of the product.
• Do not use it on open wounds.
• Consultation with a physician is recommended for people suffering from diabetes and low blood pressure.

Intended user: The medical device is intended for laypersons (non-professional users).

Usage: Insert between the first (big) toe and the second toe, paying attention to the profile of the product. Do not use for more than 16 hours per day. For external use only. Do not apply on open wounds. Patients suffering from diabetes or low blood pressure should consult a doctor before use.

Maintenance: Hypoallergic product. Wash in lukewarm soapy water. Dry in places away from artificial heat sources. Put some talc on the product before re-use.

Disposal of the medical device: The device must be disposed of following the applicable local environmental regulations.

Warnings:

Do not use the device if it has been damaged or deformed. 

Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.

Do not use a device of the wrong size or in a way for which it is not intended. If you experience any problems related to using the product, please contact your doctor.­  Failure to observe proper personal hygiene and inappropriate cleaning detergents can cause abrasions or other ailments associated with increased sweating and bacterial growth.

NOTE: Any serious incident in connection with the device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State where the user and/or patient is based.­­
