Metatarsal Arch Support

The beige pad is designed to fit under the arch on the inside of your foot. Place the product on the hard surface to have the hoop and loop fastening on the outside part of the foot. Place the foot on the pad to have it just in the ball of your foot. Pull the hoop and loop fastening over the top of the foot with enough tension to provide comfortable usage during walking. A properly placed metatarsal arch support pad helps by lifting the metatarsal arch and applying pressure to encourage the return of the natural footpad to the pressure point areas.

Instructios for use

Indications (target patient group)

• transverse flat feet,
• support for the foot's transverse arch,
• change in pressure distribution in the forefoot.

Contraindications:

• Skin changes within the impact of the product.

Intended user: The medical device is intended for laypersons (non-professional users).

Usage: Pull the pelotte over the foot so that the convex element is near the heads of the metatarsal bones, i.e. in the place where the metatarsus passes into the toes (ball of the foot). A correctly positioned pad should raise the heads of the metatarsal bones from II to IV, ensuring contact with the ground of heads I and V.

Maintenance: Store away from direct sunlight and ensure the product is not twisted. Handwash in soap water. Squeeze out excess water and air dry. Do not machine wash and machine dry. Dry away from artificial heat sources.

Disposal of the medical device: The device must be disposed of following the applicable local environmental regulations.

Available sizes:

Small – tape length: 18 cm

Large – tape length: 20 cm

Warnings:

Do not use the device if it has been damaged or deformed. 

Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.

Do not use a device of the wrong size or in a way for which it is not intended. If you experience any problems related to using the product, please contact your doctor.­  Failure to observe proper personal hygiene and inappropriate cleaning detergents can cause abrasions or other ailments associated with increased sweating and bacterial growth.

NOTE: Any serious incident in connection with the device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State where the user and/or patient is based.­­
