The Qmed Safe & Glow Therapy Pillow is an innovation in the field of sleep comfort and skin care. This remarkable pillow has been designed to minimise pressure on delicate areas of the face, helping to prevent the formation of nighttime wrinkles, while providing support for those who need to rest following medical procedures. During sleep, the skin on the face can succumb to pressure, creating wrinkles that are asymmetrical and deepen with age. Prevention measures include the use of a suitably shaped pillow.

The Qmed Safe & Glow Therapy Pillow is also an invaluable aid for people with pathologically altered facial skin. Thanks to its gentle structure, it provides comfort and protection against irritation for skin requiring special care, such as that affected by acne or eczema. The special opening in the cushion is designed to relieve pressure on the ears and cheeks, offering relief to those who have undergone otoplasty or are struggling with ear pain. Its ergonomic shape also stabilises the cervical spine, facilitating a healthy and restorative sleep.

The pillow is a medical device manufactured using lightweight and durable materials, developed on the basis of modern design principles. Under the influence of body heat, the memory foam adapts perfectly to the shape of the body, thereby increasing the support surface. This creates excellent conditions for relieving the muscular, ligamentous and joint structures in the cervical spine, which it also stabilises. In addition to its use in physiotherapy and physical therapy, the pillow is a recognised basic means of health intervention for dysfunctions of the cervical spine. The pillow is allergy-free, as the memory foam inhibits the growth of dust mites.

Intended use / indications / patient group:

• The device is intended for patients with clinical conditions requiring mild relief of craniofacial pressure due to surgery or trauma or inflammatory skin conditions.
• Improvement in sleep quality as a result of ensuring natural curvature of the cervical spine.

Contraindications: 

• Clinical conditions that preclude the use of a craniofacial relieving device.
• Indication for absolute immobilisation of the cervical region. 

Maintenance: The memory foam is not washable. The outer pillowcase is removable and can be washed at up to 30°C/ 86°F. The pillow may have a 'factory smell' when removed from its packaging due to the method of transport. To make it disappear, simply air the pillow before first use.
