The Qmed Shape&Rest lumbar pillow made of memory foam was designed for people who spend long hours sitting at a desk. The ergonomic contouring of the pillow supports the physiological lumbar lordosis, stabilising the spine from the lower thoracic to the sacral region. As a result, the device significantly reduces muscle tension and back pain, which is a common problem among office workers. The use of memory foam ensures that the pillow adapts perfectly to the user's individual body shape, ensuring even weight distribution and reducing pressure points. The pillow is a medical device manufactured using lightweight and durable materials, developed on the basis of modern design principles. Under the influence of body heat, the memory foam adapts perfectly to the shape of the body, thereby increasing the support surface. This creates excellent conditions for relieving the muscular, ligamentous and joint structures in the cervical spine, which it also stabilises. In addition to its use in physiotherapy and physical therapy, the pillow is a recognised basic means of health intervention for dysfunctions of the cervical spine. The pillow is allergy-free, as the memory foam inhibits the growth of dust mites.

Intended use / indications / patient group:

• mild lower thoracic, lumbosacral pain associated with failure to maintain proper posture while sitting,
• prophylaxis in case of a sedentary lifestyle
• degenerative changes of the T-L-S spine sections.

Maintenance: The memory foam is not washable. The outer pillowcase is removable and can be washed at up to 30°C/ 86°F. The pillow may have a 'factory smell' when removed from its packaging due to the method of transport. To make it disappear, simply air the pillow before first use.
